The script was built to collect MacOSX data like Hardware and Software details from Client machines independently and send this client machine information from time to time to the Zabbix server. My goal was to have all the information of a client machine in the Zabbix Host inventory to manage server AND Clients in Zabbix. After implementing store MAC for host would be interesting: 1. Show MAC in list: Monitoring Discovery. Implement trigger for firing by change MAC address. I hope this may be useful also to other Zabbix.

Install the App

Command+Spaceand type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:

If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish. - Run:
brew install zabbix
